Copenhagen Introduces Self-Service Bag Drop

Copenhagen T3

Copenhagen Airport is introducing self-service bag drop facilities for SAS and Norwegian passengers with the aim to make check-in easier and to lower airline costs, as part of its World Class Hub strategy.
Norwegian DSG Systems will supply the 12 initial systems, eight in Terminal 3 and four in Terminal 2.
Marie-Louise Lotz, head of passenger service at the airport, commented:  “Our passenger surveys show that travellers very much prefer do-it-yourself solutions, so we expect that the self-service bag drop service will result in even greater passenger satisfaction.”
The systems will be installed by the end of the year and will be available for around 60% of passengers.
In the longer term, the airport hopes to offer the service to the largest possible number of passengers.
