The UK’s Birmingham Airport has welcomed carrier bmi regional’s inaugural flight to Billund, Denmark. The six-times-a-week service is the last of four new routes launched by the airline this year from Birmingham, adding to its recent start-ups to Lyon, Toulouse and Gothenburg.
bmi regional’s CEO Cathal O’Connell commented: “With fares starting from as little as £59 [US$91] each way, we’re reducing both the cost and travel time for both business and leisure travellers who wish to travel to West Denmark.”
Flight BM1451 will depart Birmingham at 07:00 from Mondays to Fridays, arriving at Billund at 09:40. On the same days, the return flight BM1452 will depart Billund at 10:10 and arrive at Birmingham at 11:00. On Sundays, the flight will leave Birmingham at 12:00 and arrive at Billund at 14:40, returning at 15:10 to arrive back in the UK at 16:00.
