Swissport Granted Algerian Ground Handling Licences

swissport loading-1_rgbFollowing a period when its baggage delivery service at London’s Gatwick was criticized last month, Swissport International (Swissport), has received some good news in the form of a new five-year ground handling licence award.  The contract covers three Algerian international airports; Constantine Mohamed Boudiaf, Batna Mostepha Ben Boulaid and Tlemcen Zenata Messali El Hadj. The new ground handling licenses were awarded to Swissport Algeria effective from July 31. Swissport says it will work jointly and closely with the respective airport authorities EGSA Constantine and Oran: “to ensure that the new ground handling licences for Constantine, Batna and Tlemcen airports will significantly benefit all three locations, as well as the Algerian aviation sector in general.”
