Frontier Airlines to Outsource 1,300 Ground Jobs

Frontier Airbus Line up
Frontier Airlines has announced it will outsource approximately 1,300 jobs – about one third of its entire workforce – at Denver and Milwaukee.
The airline says Swissport International will perform all ground-handling duties at Denver, Colorado, replacing around 1,160 airline employees while Nashville-based Sitel will take over the jobs of 140 reservations staff in Milwaukee.
Frontier’s Director of Communications, Todd Lehmacher, said the airline had taken a “difficult but necessary decision” to outsource the jobs but stressed that Frontier staff would be given priority for interviews with the contractors.
