As the second biggest regional French airport, with passenger traffic of 8.5 million in 2014, Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport is continuing its infrastructure development, and is currently committed to one of the largest construction projects in its history: the building of Terminal 1 on a surface area of around 70,000 square metres.
The new terminal will increase the overall capacity of the airport from the current 9.5 million to 15 million passengers by 2020, and will boast 10,000 square metres of commercial space, recreation areas and restaurants.
The operating company, Aéroports de Lyon, is therefore launching a call for tenders, to design, build and run new points of sale in the restricted area of the terminal.
Seven areas are concerned by this retail tender (excluding restaurants), ranging from 32 square metres for the smallest to 119 square metres for the biggest.
Interested parties must notify Aéroports de Lyon before the 27th March in order to receive the relevant documentation to reply to the tender.
