Bratislava-based AirExplore has joined the International Air Carrier Association (IACA) as a new full member.
The Slovakian airline, founded in 2010, operates a fleet of six Boeing 737 aircraft for tour operators upon aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) contracts.
AirExplore operates flights out of airports in Europe and the Pacific region (the Republic of Palau) thanks to its ability to set up remote aircraft bases.
Welcoming the airline to IACA, the association’s Director General, Sylviane Lust, said:
“We are delighted that AirExplore is joining us, IACA is also happy to have a carrier from Slovakia for the first time in our membership.”
“We are looking forward to working with the team at AirExplore on a range of aeropolitical, operational and technical issues, with the common goal to constantly improve the environment in which our member airlines operate.”
