
The non-stop and direct flights depart Muscat at 1400 and arrive in Frankfurt at 1845. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, return flights depart Frankfurt at 2020, arriving in Muscat at 0600. Flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays depart Frankfurt at 2135 and arrive in Muscat at 0715.
Oman Air is the only airline to offer direct, non-stop flights between Muscat and Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, London, Milan and Zurich.
Oman Air has initially ordered six Dreamliners, with the first two being delivered this autumn. Four more will follow before the end of 2018. The carrier’s expansion of its long haul fleet is part of a broader fleet and network expansion programme, currently underway. This will see Oman Air operate 25 wide-body and 45 narrow-body aircraft by 2020. In addition, the airline will programme will deliver significant increases in the number of Oman Air’s global destinations and the frequency of flights on established routes, as well as improved connection times at Muscat International Airport.
