Air India Employee ‘Sucked Into Aircraft Engine’

Air India says one of its technicians, identified as Ravi Subramanium, has died after being sucked into an aircraft engine at Mumbai Airport.
The accident happened on the evening of December 16 as the Airbus A319 operating flight AI619 from Mumbai to Hyderabad was being pushed back. An investigation is underway.
Air India Chairman, Ashwani Lohani, said: “We are deeply saddened and regret the tragic incident.”
