Signals Detected from EgyptAir Crash ‘Black Box’

French investigators have confirmed one of its vessel has detected audio signals from one of the ‘black boxes’ from the EgyptAir Airbus A320 that crashed on May 19.
The signals were found by the French vessel Laplace as it was searching the Mediterranean Sea.
All 66 people on board were killed when EgyptAir flight MS804 crashed into the Mediterranean Sea while flying from Paris to Cairo.
Remi Jouty Director of France’s Civil Aviation Bureau of Investigations and Analysis department said: “The signal from a beacon from a flight recorder has been detected,” and added: “A priority search area has been set up.”
