London Stansted Airport is playing host to the famous US Presidential aircraft known as Air Force One today (July 12).   US President Donald Trump arrived at Stansted just before 2pm local time to start a four-day state visit to the UK.  The aircraft is a Boeing VC-25A, one of two specially modified Boeing 747-200B airliners that use the Air Force One radio call sign when the President is onboard.  The aircraft is expected to leave Stansted on Friday evening (13th).

Stansted Airport has tweeted that the airport and passenger flights are all operating as normal.

One Response to Stansted Airport Plays Host to Air Force One

  1. Charles ochieng enineer says:

Am impressed that Trump’s visit does not interfere with normal operations.
In Africa, Kenya particularly, the airport would be a no-go zone
