Expansion Work and Supplier Meeting at Oslo Airport

Work on Oslo Airport 's Non-Schengen East area begins on October 1. (Avinor)

On October 1st, work will begin on the expansion of Oslo Airport’s Non-Schengen East area.  The project includes building a facility covering approximately 322,917sq ft (30,000 m2) which will be linked to the airport’s East Pier and associated aircraft parking stands.

The NOK 3.3 billion task is scheduled to be finished in the second quarter of 2022. 

Information meeting
An information meeting for suppliers to the project will be held on Wednesday September 19 at 12.00 noon at the Park Inn Hotel,Gardermoen. Interested parties must register for the information meeting by sending an email to anskaffelser_unso@avinor.no stating the company’s name and the number of people who will be attending.

Runar Botten, Avinor’s acting project director commented: “Work on the expansion of the non-Schengen terminal area is starting in October.  We are looking forward to getting started and the upcoming competitions to find the best contractors to build the new building.”

The information meeting will be useful for all suppliers that are interested in the project.  The first contracts for the building will be announced in February 2019.
