The Lufthansa Group has selected dnata to provide ramp, secure clean and passenger handling services to its aircraft serving Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The air service provider now serves the airline group, including Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines and Edelweiss Air, at eight airports in the United States.
In Austin, dnata will handle Lufthansa’s new Frankfurt flight, which the airline operates five times a week, using Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
The ground handling company’s staff expect to assist 70,000 passengers a year from check-in to boarding, and from disembarkation to baggage collection.
