Systems Interface Wins ILS Contract at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Zambia.

The UK-based firm, Systems Interface, has been awarded a turnkey contract by Zambia Airports Corporation Limited to install a new Instrument Landing System (ILS) at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (IATA: LUN).

Systems Interface will supply, deliver, install and commission a Normarc 7000 ILS system with a co-located Normarc DME complete with a remote control and monitoring system on runway 10/28.

Installation and commissioning of the ILS system that includes a 16-element two-frequency localiser antenna system, a single-frequency dual transmitter glide path system with hot-standby monitoring, a null reference glide path antenna system and a low power dual 100w DME including uni-directional antenna will begin late 2019.
