Menzies Aviation has announced a three-year contract renewal with the Latin American airline group, LATAM.

The three-year contract will cover ground handling duties at four Colombian airports; El Dorado International Airport in Bogota (IATA: BOG), José María Córdova International Airport in Rionegro (MDE), Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport in Palmira (CLO) and Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport in Barranquilla (BAQ), representing around 40,000 turnarounds per annum across all four stations.

Giles Wilson, CEO Menzies Aviation said: “LATAM is the dominant player in the South American market and a valued customer of Menzies.  LATAM’s decision to renew their contract after nine years goes to show what a great job our team do day in and day out, ensuring we deliver a safe and secure service with aircrafts departing on time. I look forward to continuing our relationship with LATAM in Colombia.”
