The Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) is inviting Request for Proposal (RFP) from food and beverage operators for several sites within the Domestic Terminal of Brisbane Airport.

The airport said this RFP is for the last remaining food and beverage concessions in the second stage of the Domestic Terminal Redevelopment. BAC completed the $15 million stage one in 2016 and commenced the $40 million stage two in mid-2018.

The opportunities range from approximately 1,292sq ft (120m²) to 3,660sq ft (340m²) located in prominent positions across Level 1 Arrivals and Level 2 Departures in the southern end of the terminal (predominantly accommodating Virgin Australia services).

Under this RFP, premium F&B operators are invited to submit one, or all, of the proposed concepts, including an opportunity to operate a family orientated café with entertainment areas, an iconic licensed restaurant serving all day options, or a grab and go café offer.

The airport said the request will require the respondent to demonstrate they have the necessary level of experience, capacity, and resources to partner with BAC to deliver its retail vision. It adds that this vision is to create a liveable airport environment that provides retail, commercial and recreational experience that is uniquely Brisbane.

The RFP has commenced and will close at 4pm AEST on Friday January 31, 2020.
