British Airways is to suspend all services from London Gatwick airport due to the widespread national and international restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 epidemic. It is not yet clear if any of these services will continue from Heathrow.
In a separate move, the airline relocated all its flights from Heathrow’s Terminal 3 to its main hub, Terminal 5, at the weekend.
Like every other airline, most of BA’s flights are suspended until further notice, but it continues to provide repatriation and other essential services. The airline is one of several that has formed an agreement with the British Government to provide further repatriation flights in the coming days and weeks.
