YOUR ROTARY WING FUTURE WITH LUVIAIR
An exciting new vacancy is available with Luviair UK Ltd (“Luviair”) for a Chief Pilot.
The Chief Pilot will be an integral part of Luviair’s new AOC, with principal operational bases on the Isle of Man, South of France and Mallorca.
Tours on the Isle of Man will take place in the Summer, from May to September, primarily in the lead Robinson R44 helicopter.
The alternative winter operating base will be from Cannes Mandelieu airfield in the South of France and Son Bonnet Mallorca, with options for further flying around Europe.
As with any start-up operation the scope of the operation and the schedule is open to variation, and we welcome and expect the input of the Chief Pilot in this.
There will be the opportunity to provide safety pilot support services to our VIP clients.There will also be opportunities for involvement with deck crew training onboard heli-capable yachts with live helicopter exercises in the Spring and early Autumn.
You will be an active post-holder, and as such will have to comply with the UK CAA’s requirements for the post, and respect the responsibilities associated with it.

This is an opportunity with unique challenges, as such we are looking for the person who fits with our vision and wants to grow along with the company driving that growth from the start, and not just the applicant who ticks the boxes. The below are minimum requirements and should not be viewed as the sole indication of who we are seeking to employ.
- EASA CPL (H)
- EASA FI Unrestricted
- EASA Class 1 Medical
- R44 Type Rating with good general Robinson experience
- A Turbine type rating
- 1400 total rotary hours
- H125 Type Rating + 15 hours on type
- French and/or Spanish speaker
- Certificates; Dangerous Goods, Fire , First Aid, CRM
- Has completed the Robinson Safety course
